Year 8 pupils are using a program called MSW Logo. This is
available as a free
download from Softronics and can be used at home. You
need to download the MSW Logo 1.7 MB 'Setup Kit' which is
the second link down. (Note: Pupils should check with parents
before downloading this program.)
Once you have MSW Logo installed, there are
many other fun
downloads to try - Ms Smith particularly liked the random
maze program that is in the third box down. You should open
and read the txt file first, as it contains the instructions
for the mazes
This year (September 2009) we will be starting
a new course called the OCR National Award. On the options
evening you will be able to speak to teachers about this course,
but in the meantime you can look in the options booklet, and
explore the links below.

You can download, save and print the document if you
wish.
In
Key Stage 3 you have covered many different topics and any
of these may appear in the Year 9 exam. Below is a list of
all the topics you have covered, with some links to useful
revision resources; some of the resources are part of the
BBC's Bitesize web site, some are from a site called ReviseICT
and some are materials that your teachers have produced. Remember
to use a mixture of methods to revise.
