Comberton Sports and Arts, the Leisure Centre attached to the village college are holding an open day to celebrate new equipment and facilities and to raise money for charity.

The Alzheimer’s Society will benefit as members and non-members alike are invited to make a donation to be among the first to try out a range of new equipment in the Fitness Suite from 9.00am on Saturday September 2nd.

The existing equipment is being updated and new equipment added including a stairmaster, spinning bike and a multi-purpose exercise station called EXF X Station Elite Functional Rig.

A number of classes, which form part of the membership package, will also be running on the day, including the new spin class.

There will also be the chance for donors to win three months’ free gym membership while anybody signing up on the day will had their £10 joining fee waived.

Although it will not be open on the day, Comberton Sports and Arts will also be celebrating the completion of a new surface on their full-size astroturf.
