Friends of CVC Trust Fund
The Friends of Comberton Village College Trust Fund ("The Friends") was established in 1984 and consists of parents of past and present pupils of Comberton Village College. They are supported by CVC staff members, parents, carers and school prefects to generate additional funding to support the work of CVC both for its pupils and the wider community. "The Friends" fundraise by supporting CVC music and drama events, providing refreshments or raffles and also host their own events such as the Christmas Fayre and Second-hand Uniform Sales.
"The Friends" are a registered charity (No. 288733) and all funding we receive is used to enhance the wellbeing and learning experiences for each and every pupil at the school. As a Henry Morris Village College, we also offer support to Comberton Sports & Arts which serves the wider community. As a charity we are also registered with "easy fundraising" a website which donates to the user's chosen charity whilst they shop online. How to become a Trustee of "The Friends"
We have an amazing team of Trustees but are always looking for new members and volunteers. How to make a donation
There are many ways you can donate to the "The Friends":
- Prizes* for the many raffles held at the different school events

Preloved School Uniform* - for the Preloved Uniform Sales, held throughout the year

Financial donations via the CAF Portal. This is a tax efficient way of donating because we can claim Gift Aid on all eligible donations
* Donations for the raffles or used school uniform can be dropped off at Reception between 8am and 4pm, Monday-Friday.
All donations are greatly appreciated and if you would like to make a donation of a different kind (ie a business donation or an item you would like to donate for a specific department) please do not hesitate to contact us, we would love to talk to you.
