Les Misérables

29th January 2026

We are delighted to announce that this year’s college production is the epic and unforgettable musical Les Misérables.

Set in 19th-century France and based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel, Les Misérables tells the powerful story of Jean Valjean, a man seeking redemption after being imprisoned for stealing a loaf of bread. As he rebuilds his life, he is relentlessly pursued by the unwavering Inspector Javert. Along the way, we meet a host of unforgettable characters, all caught up in the struggles of poverty, revolution, and hope.
With iconic songs such as I Dreamed a Dream, On My Own, and One Day More, this production promises to move and inspire audiences of all ages.
